RESCUE vs RELEASE

I realize this story has been told long before I decided to give my take on it, but the more I read about it, the more it pisses me off. So for those of you in the "Love the enemy" crowd, let me see if I can spell it out for you:

RESCUE: To free or deliver from confinement, violence, danger, or evil.

RELEASE: To give up, reliquish or surrender.

Still confused? Try reading a dictionary someday. And while you're at it, look up the word ungrateful and see if it rings a bell!
