A Belated "Happy New Year!"

Sorry it took me so long to post this...As you all know, sometimes life gets in the way of one's plans. I spent the past week with Dad in the hospital, (he's fine now and back home,) a Military Funeral, work and some some computer problems so this is the first chance I've had to post anything.

Wanted to wish you all a belated "Happy New Year" and thank you for stopping by to read this humble blog of mine.

This photograph is nearly as old as I am, but I wanted to post it for my crew. In light of our past three days on the street, it really does fit perfectly.

(And no, for those outside the FF/Rescue community, we've never done this...but we have run a supply line on the hood and roof of vehicles in similar situations!)

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!

Another of those situations when you could ask. "What would John Wayne Do?" Looks like the most expedient way to handle a situation. By walking away from his car, the owner granted Carte Blanche to anyone needing access to that marked spot. ROTFLMAO
Happy New Year
My cyber resolution? To blog much more often than the last half of last year. "Frankly Opinionated" is back up and running. just google me

I wish my department could claim the credit for that one - believe me! LOL!
I think,(I'm not 100% sure,) that the photo can be attributed to my FDNY or Boston brothers, but either way, it's something we've all dreamed of doing a time or two.
Glad your blog is up and running again!

I just took a closer look and the tag on the "Bitch, Moan n Whine" looks like the Cereal State. Gotta put that in Photoshop for closer examination.
A fire dept. buddy once saw a car parked at a hydrant, recognized it as an office sort, so he put crime scene tape around the car and left it. Watched from his station down the street, and the owner finally called his wife to pick him up.
Who sez revenge isn't self-gratifying?

I'll take your word on the State of origin fior the photo. But it sure looks like something a Californicator would do!
Happy New Year!
BTW, that pic of the Aggie jump team...? are YOU an Aggie?

I think y'all may be right about the California plates. If so, I have a new found respect for my west coast brethren!
(Pure sarcasam folks - I respect them all)
Holly, I did my pre-nursing courses there, but alas, TX A&M doesn't have a nursing school so I was forced to go elsewhere once I finally figured out what I wanted to be when I grew up.

(And when that happens, I'll let you know!)
